What is Pickleball?
THE UK’S FASTEST GROWING SPORT
Pickleball is like playing a combination of tennis, badminton and table tennis.
- Pickleball can be played indoors or outdoors.
- You use a paddle and a plastic ball to play.
- You play on a court that is the same size as a doubles badminton court, 20 by 44 feet.
- The net height is 36 inches at the sidelines and 34 inches in the middle.
- Anyone can enjoy the game of pickleball.
I used to play a lot of racquet sports especially squash but due to knee problems I had to regrettable stop. Pickleball is the best alternative. Its fun, active and can be a very competitive sport!
I visited Florida 2 years and played Pickleball on the outside courts. It was quick to learn and the rules are quite simple.
Never really played any racket sports but Pickleball is a really good game to be involved in!
I am proud that Pickleball has come to Bournemouth. Our club has grown significantly with members over the past year and we are dedicated to promoting this fantastic paddle sport.
